Her birth was fatal, and she was born with bad health

Crippled she stayed entirely, for her parents lacked in wealth.

Illiterate her parents were, however, they ensured their daughter was educated,

Slaves they remained entirely, for they weren't allowed to liberate.

As brilliant and talented she was, never letting herself down,

Always a topper and stubborn in everything, she became quite famous in the town.

She graduated as a lawyer, in spite of her bad condition,

I'll always serve the truth, she pledged on her convocation.

An Industrialist, a wealthy guy, holding an entire government in his hands,

Owner of a huge line of factories, he had grabbed many innocent farmers’ lands.

Being a chemical supplier, his job was to create chemicals and deliver,

His industries prepared harmful drugs, and emptied the residues into the river.

The entire town hated this, as this kept happening from the past years,

No one raised their voice against him, as all of them had their own fears.

As she came to know, against the injustice, the girl protested,

I'll do things legally, the girl felt, and I'll never let the water go wasted.

A court case she filed, and single handedly called upon him for justice,

An experienced lawyer the industrialist appointed, for this was his common practice.

With no public support, the girl still presented all the evidence,

As usual the industrialist denied against it, and boldly lied in the court's presence.

With no solid proof, the industrialist adjourned the case with the help of law

Understanding her mistakes, the girl regained confidence, which he never saw.

The Girl reopened the case, against everyone who said her efforts are in vain,

Never did she feared, for her confidence, her instincts were her biggest gain.

Presenting all the evidence, she finally proved the Industrialist's guilt,

For all the pollution, unwanted works and illegal industries that he had built.

The industrialist was arrested, and his businesses were shut, In spite of his hold on the democracy,

The handicapped girl won single handedly, without budging even once in this world of Androcracy.
