This Lockdown

This lockdown had opened doors of myself and let me see what’s inside of me, let me see my weaknesses, my flaws, my mistakes made in past,

made me realize how alone I am, and no one only I can save myself, made me realize my self-worth, my importance to me and that how self-care should be the topmost priority.

This lockdown made me realize the importance of friendship, that friendship can only be earned not begged, that who is actually there for me and therefore to prioritize people in my life, the people I shouldn’t have let go and the people I should have let go. 

This lockdown made me realize how powerful my fears are and how much I had let them control me, and the need to fight my fears and to be brave.

This lockdown made me realize that my family will always be going to be there for me and how much they love me, and that how we should always cherish our relations with our loved ones.

This lockdown made me realize the feeling of losing my loved ones, and to be always there for your loved ones.        

This lockdown made me realize not to lose myself at any cost, and to always find happiness, not to pity myself and to constantly love and cherish myself.

This lockdown made me realize that spoken words can’t be taken back and that’s why to think before speaking, and to accept myself as I am.

This lockdown made me realize to try not to let anyone see or break my wall.

And that no matter what happens, you have to be strong, because you are always going to be there for yourself.
