The Word Itself Says I’m Possible
The Word Itself Says I’m Possible
A world with boundaries and bounds
The expectations of people that hound
Our wrists are chained and kept
And that’s what we will have to accept
But imagine a world as a bird
Free and soaring- where you are heard
The sky and ground all in your stride
Where it is your freedom that you will guide
Freedom to imagine is what discovered
A picture of an idealistic world uncovered
Looking for approval is what needs to end
People’s views binds us and our ways we amend
We can’t be used as toys, we can’t be strung around
It is crucial for us to hold our ground
Society’s expectations are as big as a hill
Perfection doesn't exist and thats what we need to kill
It is imperative to set our bound bodies free
Let not this world our prison be
Where fear and shame would pull us down
To suffocate and cause us to drown
With freedom we will reach and achieve greater heights
The view up there is a beautiful sight
We need to attain the impossible
For the word itself says I'm possible.
