Just between the curtains 

Of my clenched heart,

Crumpled shades of grey emerge.

I lay barren holding my own truth,

Feeding seeds of granular hope!

My eyes see beneath my own self,

Caring little about what's outside.

It opens to a world of possibilities,

But ignores its mere presence.

The beats have no meaning at all,

But they are in a wait to find,

The unsung melodies of yore,

The unsung memories fill up 

My clenched heart with love.

It yearns now to find that 

Magical love again,

Once again my granular hope 

Gains its strength,

To rise towards that distant faith,

Glittering with its own glory,
