The Unsaid Plea
The Unsaid Plea
There were so many things unsaid
But I can’t say them for there is no one to listen,
There were so many things that were never done
But I can't do them
For they were our plans together,
There were so many promises
Which can't be kept either.
Who do I keep them for?
Now that you are gone.
We planned our lives,
But with you gone, all I’m left with is chaos
Please don't leave for I am alone.
Don’t take away the light
Plunging me into the darkness of oblivion.
Here I stand now,
With unshed tears in my eyes, shaking hands
I am alone, for you, my friend through thick and thin are gone
I can't even mourn your loss
Can't cry, for I fear that if
I let myself shed even a single tear
I will break, and this time,
There won't be anyone to pick up the broken pieces of me
And put me back together.
