Nine months of wait,

it’s a long long time

But in the end

Comes a beautiful life,

A new life born of me

Rather an angel sent to me.

The days were happier

With laughter all around,

A new lantern throwing light

In our darkened life.

A small angel with an innocent smile

Warming hearts ever so docile.

That was the day I gave life to you

Rather a new life to myself.

As I see you grow

Small frocks with laces and shoes,

Now turned into a gothic look
