The Unknown Letter
The Unknown Letter
The curtains were shaking,
The windows were trembling,
A jaw was shattering.
Laid upon a chair was an old pack of bones
Rested upon her was a yellow, torn
Parchment sticking out
Of an envelope.
It was meaningless opinion to open
But thousand to not to open.
Confused or puzzled by the letter unknown
It was darkened
Or bewitched
That cursed upon the holder.
The atmosphere became gloomier
Which made suspense
Fight or surrender
Can it be a blunder?
Was it a threat?
Was it a care?
Was it a crime unaware?
Was it a message of a theft?
The exaggerated doubt
Was now a shout
Audible were some thuds
From the cabinet above
Now roamed an increased sound.
Heavenly it was
The notes were saved
A piano flew and
Caused charity by mistake
Flushing the scene
The lady fell in
The beam
The banana peels
How can they be the culprit with so
Ease?
The parchment
Flipped and flapped
And she saw it was the letter of her own chap.
Down was her husband
In the end of
The show.
A new burden for
The judge,
How did she go?
Fantasy the death
Victim known and unknown
Fighting injustice
Where someone can be the audience
Or the head of the show
To the end of the death
And afterlife
There won't be
A yellow parchment
Laid upon an old pack of bones
