The Tree
The Tree
Like an old man it stood
Depriving all leaves it looked crude.
It must have lived from a long time
Tired of storms and impediments of life.
Its boughs had lost all the lustre
It must have been home to many creatures.
It had no life left in it
Like an old exhausted man it stood still.
Life must have been too cruel
Yet it was grounded to the soil.
No one loved it anymore
All that it bore left it long ago.
It was useless to Mankind
Without any shade it had become spined.
Entwined in the arms of nature
It stood as a hope bearer.
How
hopeless man becomes
When everyone leaves him!
No children whom he had nurture
Would come forward to take his care.
The old tree was even left
Even no tendrils in it's boughs crept.
Yet it had the strength
To fight in this world till it's last breath.
But I was enchanted by it's spirit
It stood like a pillar of Hope in a lonely street.
We humans shouldn't get depressed as impediments of life cross our way
We need to keep the tree of Hope alive in our hearts and chase the snag away.
Even we are abandoned by life
We need to keep patience and fight back with strife.
