The Sun & The Moon

Like a furious warrior king,
The sun is gleaming bright and hot
To light up our Mother Gaia.
Those rays, they own superpowers.

As rays touch the orb's surface,
The entire flora and fauna wake up,
To welcome yet another new day;
And that, too, with the utmost zest.

Hours pass by, and the day is over,
It's time for the moon to glow.
Just like the previous warm night,
He showed up at the exact time.

Surrounded by the twinkling stars,
He radiates a shiny, silvery light.
And under this comfy pretty glitter,
The whole globe slips into sleep.
