The String
The String
Meeting you wasn’t life changing at all,
Because when you entered my life,
A pre-existing room emerged,
For which only you held the key,
And nothing felt out of place!
And now that the door is open,
I can feel the sunshine on my body reflecting through your soul,
The moonshine which has aligned your stars with mine,
The way you shower your love like it’s pouring rain,
The feeling that you’re the centre and I yearn to revolve around you.
We’re attached by the string,
You’re the end of me, and I’m the end of you.
