The Storm

You the strange guy,

Came into my life,

With the hope that awoke

My eyes from the grooming folk.

I was a person with no emotion,

But you came like an angel and,

Kept humming like a nightingale.

keeping my eyes on you every time,

Was the work I used to do lifetime.

To care for you day and night,

Was the job I did till the time.

When you grew stronger,

You didn't need my shoulder.

The time passed away so,

You changed along the way.

There was you in your life as a light,

While I was struggling through it as a night.

The eve you never imagined without me,

The morning that ever started with me,

Is now a word that I have strongly earned.

There was you who made me realise,

What's my existence but a moment came,

When you yourself buried all hopes,

That was growing inside.

You spoilt the life as a storm spoils the nest.

However I built a castle that is,

Strong enough to break.
