The Sound Of Silence

The Sound Of Silence

Silhouette of my heart now,

Is partially crushed with dark ashes,

Dotted patches and some dollops of silence;

My heart is adorned with them.

Leftovers are slowly vanishing,

Pain making vacuum for ensuing

As there's a stone processed through a long time

In feedback of failed love and non-acceptance.

Now I adore the sound of silence,

No yapping thunders, no roaring clouds;

Now my ears crave for the soothing wind,

The sound of rushing wind feels cozier,

More than the tunes I'm used to get soften with,

Silence has always its elegance

But I missed all of it,

Alluring was the result but carried a lot of destruction,

Now it's empowering rather than beautiful.

Neither have I regrets of loss,

Nor I have hidden secrets of fear,

All I have is the reminiscence, free of desires.

Silence has made me stronger than ever,

It secretly kisses my strength now,

And my prayers voyage through its flow.

Destiny is far, not unreachable,

So the silence is intense, not incomprehensible;

Love resides in the sound that silence wears

And it voices about the lost peace every now and then,

Even forever and after.
