The Smothering Love

Bounding me by the love,

Do you realize you are smothering me?

I'm fed up with the articulated reasons

When you say you are caring for me.

You say I'm never into this!

Try and give me a chance,

The long, buried liking,

An opportunity to enhance.

Let me explore my potential

And get out of my comfort zone,

I want to learn by experience,

A day when I'm danger prone.

Narrating a story scarcely told:

Eagle is much forlorn and it's eaglet's at risk,

Eagle has to take the courage

And behest the eaglet to jump-off the cliff.

They trust their creed

They surely succeed

They glide so high

They reign the sky.

Courage is the reason

That empowers us to fly

Only you can unwind my chains,

Let me touch the sky!

I urge you to be a little careless,

Let me live and not just survive

You know a brave dies once,

A coward thousand times.
