The Rainbow Ride

I rode on a rainbow 

And here I am

I see all my dreams

Have magically spanned.

Feeling fulfilled 

Content and gratified

But there's a vaccum

Which feels empty and light.

Higher on the rainbow 

Delirious with wins

The view is breathtaking 

But there's a lump in the larynx.

Gratitude is huge

Towards the cosmos and life.

Towards everything and everyone 

In love and strife.

I can see many rainbows

On the horizon they shine

Will ride them too

To experience the divine.

Living through life

With a tear and smile

As we all have to go

Before we rest, many miles.
