Niece and Nephew

Missing

The chatter, the yaketty - yak

The silence, not exactly,

but the hush does rack

I miss the lass ,

And the baby jumping jack.

"Teddy bears on the door!!"

And all her wise cracks

Pepper pig so pink ;

in reality black

The drooling for food

and constant lip smacks

The struggles to crawl,

then rolling on the back

Cranky ,yet grinning ,

with a smile Kodak

But it will be long

before they make a come-back

By then they will grow,

Cuz time's pace never slacks

Will draw comfort,

from video calls and snaps

Oh how i want

my niece and nephew back !!
