Is this just the purpose of life.

To love and to be loved.

To break up and let go.

Or just sharing and caring.

Or toil all day long and sleep all night on.

What purpose does life hold         

I do not know.

Why kings are rich and unhappy.

Why paupers in poverty yet make merry.

In the end when all ends.

when you pack to go beyond   to your eternal home.

The question still remains

“What is the purpose of life”.
