Every Indian had a smile 

The constitution made an entry

It was a big necessity

The freedom had arrived

It was a time to shine

Hats off to the drafting committee

The constitution came in force in 1950

We have some rights and duties

Which we have to follow with ease 

Unity with diversity is the tag 

You cannot fit it in a bag
