The Pandemic Year, 2020

If I had to make a wish,

From my bucket list.

It would be to remove 2020

From the calendar list.

Some lost health,

While some lost breath.

Hospitals came short of beds,

Causing deaths, deaths, and deaths.

The economy fell,

Everyone wanted to just yell.

Into this negativity, our country dwelled

If felt worse than hell.

We know this is going to last long,

But we need to stay strong.

As the country in which we are born,

There nothing can go wrong.
