THE NIGHT
THE NIGHT
The night was dark
And the clouds were stark
Breaking the background's noise
Was the dog's loud bark
Leaning the pole stood a hoe
Feeling the air without any care
Her dress was torn
Her eyes glittered , lips shone
And her face signified
Her capability to be the greatest in the world or so
She was tied
Not with any rope
But with the beliefs of the narrow minded society
Rape, murder, robbery this is what the world has to show
The respect for women went in vain
And the mother earth crying in the form of rain
