The Night Time Resolution

The Night Time Resolution

The evening was windy, rain poured down,

If life had a meaning, in fear it was wrapt,

I floated charred remains of my genesis inside an earthen pot, a small one,

That night too, the night had been windy, and was wrapt in silence,

Here I am awake as the night hours pass by,

I see street lights from the open window,

My being a memory doesn't bother me anymore, nor the fact that I still remain an odd person to all,

I have two lungs and a heart,

All the three are susceptible to pestilence, fire, water....much before and easily they shall perish,

Before the pain and grudge you shall give them to endure,

I shall accord you a free show of my face turning red, my stark helpless weakness,

There shall be no tickets, no entry fee,

At least once I shall be visited before I go
