The Night's Secret..

It's dark, it's quiet 

The globe is asleep 

The stars are my only kins

In this hour of calignosity

Gleaming amidst the dimness

So far yet nearer than ever

The moon looks celestial 

Yet is he familiar

Whisper my secrets, to the stars

The moon already knows

Oh how they wink!

And oh how he glows!

Down on the earth

The lights put off

Thoughts .... Put on

It's Darker but clearer

Than the daylight hours

Away from chaos 

We seek ourselves 

Our soul, our core

The essence of the whole.

Night has the nerve

Faith does she serve

Smiles at me and promises that

The world's in your palm 

And that's the night's charm!
