The Most Valuable Profession

The gentle rose bloom cannot be plucked without a prick,
And neither can sweet honey be taken without
The bee's painful trick;
This happiness from pain is everywhere,
But haven't we heard of it somewhere?
They say the fruit of knowledge is sweet,
But its roots are bitter;
So what's the harm in breaking a sweat,
In order to make things better?
To each teacher, this knowledge is common,
Along with the success, this will summon;
And if a little help is taken
,
Then no person can ever be shaken.
An architect can create a building to be tall,
And an author can write stories, big or small;
But whether you end up creating something anew
Or not, it is true that you have a teacher there,
wholeheartedly supporting you.
Success or failure, come what may,
The future of our nation depends on each teacher every day;
For if this is not fulfilled, this duty so sacred,
Then, the entire world will submerge in despair and hatred.
