Abstract Fantasy Children

The Blossoming...

The Blossoming...

Those little fingers playing with my hair,

Are not so more that little.

But are now the ones,

With a firm grip on their promising future!

That tiny feet who did the tip toes

Are not so more that tiny

But are now the ones

Who wants to explore the world in a hurry!

The chubby cheeks that I pinched

Are not so more so chubby

But are now the ones

Blushing all the way pinky!

The pouty lips that murmured 'Mumma'

Are not so more that little

But are now the ones

That put on those giltz and glamour!

The baby girl who was once a clingy

Is not so more so needy

But is now an adolescent

Who fights her battles fiercely and firmly!

How I wish

I could stop the clock

And keep her as little.

But also wish

To see her fledgling.

For her,

May the sky be the limit!
