The Lost Soul
The Lost Soul
Trying to escape from those evil eyes,
She carefully covered her body,
Yet, he groped her with his heinous hands,
She yelled from inside, but no one heard her voice,
He stripped her innocence away,
Leaving her body covered with stains,
Filling her heart with scars, burned and bruised,
Forcing her to live with the worst nightmare,
Years passed, but the pain remained the same,
Trapping her soul like the caged bird with broken wings,
She tried pretending to be okay,
And kept carrying the burden in dismay,
Until the last strength, she had,
She slowly waved her last goodbye with a tear in her eyes,
Her body followed her soul to eternity,
Hoping to free herself from the vicious pain,
Laying down with her unfulfilled dreams,
Leaving a question behind,
"How many more innocent souls do we have to bury to win this battle?"
"Another soul departed, and another fight lost."
