The Little Rain Cloud
The Little Rain Cloud
The little rain cloud,
Felt lonely in a crowd,
Under the deep blue sky.
It wondered aloud,
As it gazed around,
I'm different, I wonder why.
They all look bright,
Dressed in fluffy white,
While I'm dark and grey.
Dear, don't you despair,
Shed not a single tear,
Be proud of who you are.
It was but the breeze,
Who blew from east,
As it saw the cloud forlorn.
Others, you do not mind,
You are special, one of a kind,
Being different is no bane.
So said the wind from the east,
And did itself a twist,
The cloud could no longer restrain.
With the wind, it danced,
Glided and waltzed,
And turned dark with glee.
A drop, then a pour,
Never seen such a downpour.
Others agreed was supreme.
A lesson it learned that day,
There is always a way,
To beat the blues.
You are special,
One of a kind,
Hold your head high always.
