Mother - A Perfect Gift Of God

Oh! Dear mother 

When I was in your womb 

You tolerated my kicks and bounces 

When I came out and saw the sunlight 

You fed me and spent sleepless nights 

When I was in the cradle 

You taught me to laugh and paddle 

When I crawled 

You helped me to stand on my own and walk 

When I started my schooling 

You comforted me in my studies 

And removed my fears 

When I was happy 

Your eyes were gleaming 

When I was sad your face was gloomy 

When I attained my adulthood 

You left me alone in this world 

But your pure unconditional love

 and good guidance 

Make me mentally happy 

Physically strong and secure 

Your teachings and advices 

Make me economically confident 

Socially amicable and mature
