Catch Me If You Can
Catch Me If You Can
What might appear as normal,
is probably odd to me.
Things that might confuse you,
Are things I clearly see.
This world to me is backwards,
I'm not part of the majority.
I'm part of the reason for
this corrosion of conformity.
I use black tooth paste to turn
my teeth white.
I put a dark lamp shade over
the 60 watt light.
I turn the stereo up so I can
sleep at night.
That's 'cause I'm a SouthPaw,
and I can barely use my right.
What's out of sight, is usually
right there before me.
I don't wanna fight, I'd rather
let it all be.
What's got me uptight, I'm in
the noose of this society.
Afraid of the height. When I
lose the law of gravity.
Catch Me If You Can!
I'm a shooting star,
Inside of a man.
The party said, dress formal.
I look like an anomaly.
They just want to use you,
I don't lack integrity.
Whatever they're subtracting,
I will use geometry.
By my calculations. They're
selling what we get for free.
I usually walk my Chevrolegs,
While other people drive around.
I'm too proud, to sit and beg,
So I take what little can be found.
I refuse to watch the news,
I know they're puppets for the show.
I'm confused, this is a ruse,
and yet I see their profits grow.
What I've come to know, revealed
in messeges subliminally.
Caught in the flow, of time and
space to find eternity.
A moth to the glow, as they
singe their wings repeatedly.
Please tag my toe, when I
leave this Earth eventually.
Catch Me If You Can!
I'm a shooting star,
Inside of a man.
There's light at night.
They're wrong, you're right.
Don't lose your sight,
And give up on the fight.
They bark, we bite.
They fear our might.
Their cause, Our plight.
Their wars, Zeitgeist.
A political heist.
Life overpriced.
Truth sliced and diced,
By the Vicar of Christ.
You think about it once,
I will think twice.
Don't be a dunce, better
take my advise.
The game ain't fair, when
they do not play nice.
I hope you're aware, God
paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Try to put me on ice,
Catch Me If You Can!
I'm a shooting star,
Inside of a man.
