You, the invisible monster

Have spread around the globe as a disaster

You have not only affected the white-collared jobs...

But also left no peace for the people who work in blue-collared jobs

There is no vaccine found for your prevention

Yet, maintaining social-distancing is the only suggestion

Countries and their economic losses don’t matter

But the “isolation” is all that matters

Migrant workers were in grief because of their nil daily wages

Your outbreak has resulted in huge economic crises

 

You, the invisible monster

Have spread around the globe as a disaster

We people in January 2020 took new year resolutions.

Now, because of you, we are under strict rules and regulations

Your existence has no theory and proof

But you made relationships stronger by making family to stay under one roof

The roads are empty, the crowds are too small

And no trace of pollution outside, none at all

Introduced the conventional style of “work from home”

And the slogan that is always resonating in my ear is “stay at home”

Have spread around the globe as a disaster

People in the 1940’s came out and joined their hands and fought for independence

Now, it's our social responsibility to distance ourselves and sweep the corona presence
