The Imperious Night…
The Imperious Night…
I conjured her body, with water and clay
I conjured her heart, for love to play
Candour in her eyes, I saw this day
Ambiguous expressions was all she say
I held her in my arms, her lips shivering I see
I came still closer; as closer I could be
I touched my lips with hers, to alleviate the fear she had.
I saw alacrity in her for this act, I could never be so glad.
We lay down on a cozy bed, Candles were shy, they slept
That undressed all my thoughts and wear, them aside I kept
I kissed her lips as long till it was cogent, that she was my only love I got
She made me love all night, till imminent was the sunrise I taught.
She slept on my chest, holding me tight; with amoral thoughts of love in mind.
Kissing my heart, loving her soul, abode for me in her heart I find.
Advent it showed of the mighty sun, happy birds singing, I hear
With shy of light she vapour-ed away, she left me with no one near.
