The Illusion of 'Knowing All'

Very few people know how little they actually know,

Here, everyone claims that "we know everything."

The ego cannot tolerate that this truth remains silent,

We, too, keep chattering day and night; we just don't listen.

Sometimes we bring questions, sometimes we bring answers,

The gears of the mind constantly strive to prove themselves.

We read the book of our heart aloud to everyone, O Master!

Even these emotions refuse to embrace 'Nishabd' (silence).
