The Hidden ‘Me’
The Hidden ‘Me’
Amidst the brimming suburb,
My unconscious orb caught 'Its' sight;
The eloquent and the bouncy,
The sublime, oscillating 'Its' ponytail,
Frolicking and swaying, prattling and trilling:
My doldrums evaporating, my oblivion smile,
Dragging me to an eloquent paradise.
'A Paradise' where I'd already been,
But sadly, only once...
Where twain premonition and exult filled with joy,
'ere worries and rack had any abode.
Today, trudging but the stationery me,
Bewildered yet jovial within...
Is clueless to the non-pareil treasure I had,
Even if the hardest had I tried,
I was sure to lose 'It'...
The fainting shadows of my own self
Had been 'It' the other day...
'It' made me recall the hidden 'Me'
And relive that was 'mine' but doesn't belong to me!
