The God in Grey
The God in Grey
Now is the time as we sail,
The festivities in our nerves prevail
The glitters as it lightens the streets
The colours, so multiple play to their beats.
As the darkness is overshadowed
With the illuminating charisma
of thy Goddess Durga,
The darkness seems to vanish in the past,
With the strength of her goodness
The evil effigies in the ruins till the last.
This colour of grey
As it wipes out the wrong astray
The seventh colour of the seventh day
Keeps the right sewn to the harness,
And those wrong to tarnish at the bay.
