(An Eclipse that Ashamed Mankind: Lest we Forget!)

The wheel of time moves on...

The day sets at the dusk and the night arrives!

By the night, a tiny candela burns bright,

In the niche of an old torn house,

Somewhere in the desert of Middle East;

Dim light it mightbe, still...By the warmth of little candela,

The whacked Traveler of many rains past,

Rejoices himself with its little light;

And prosecutes his journey squaring with the March of Time;

The wheel of time moves on,

The day sets at the dusk and the night arrives!

The wheel of time moves on,

The day sets at the dusk and the night arrives!

By the night, the wind of west sways the strong rooted trees;

Overwhelmed by the intoxications of the dogmatic religion,

It sways, rocking the entire city

Provoking the still lives to scatter here and there;

The dimly burning wick of little agnostic cries for its life;

It pleads for its survival;

It bleads for its survival;

It fights against the cruel waves of Mediterranean

For its Liberty against the Philosophies of Fundamentalism

And extinguishes on the Sands of Turkey!

Waves of Mediterranean too might've shed tears

Before taking its breathes away!!!

But, the rock-like hearts of extremists stood strong

Dreaming to engineer their state on The Principles of Theology!!!

By the sharp sickle of time,

Everything shall be forgiven;

Everything shall be forgotten;

But, the arrows of the haunting memories...

Shall keep piercing our hearts

Lest we forget,

Forever and Ever!

Forever!!!

May that innocent soul Rest in Peace!
