The Day We Meet

What I want is not what you think I want

It's something I never spoke about

Not to you, not to anybody else

I am not so special, I know

But I want to be special for you

We don't talk for whatever reasons we have

It's not my fault alone, you also know

Why don't we talk, why don't we share

Is it because we both are happy separately

Is it because we find peace in solace

Yeah, these definitely are the possible reasons

But are these the definite ones

What else is there to say!

We, both of us, are afraid to get hurt

Once involved, it takes every atom of ours

But what if, yes, this what if always does it's magic

Magic of not letting others to approach us

Not letting me to approach you

Asking you if you are fine today

Not letting you to approach me

Venting out your feelings

It's hard, I get it

But it's for both of us, whatever it is

You know what, I'll play the bigger person here

I'll take the first step

I hope, eventually, you will also realise what I always wanted you to realise

You will someday finally listen to your heart

And that day i promise, we meet!!
