The Covid Fight

The Covid Fight

1 min
493

The eerie silence of the city broken only by ambulance wails,

The sullen look of closed shops with its lost livelihood,

The closed café and hotels that remind of lost fun,

The empty roads and lanes that scream for the old rush,

The parks and playgrounds where no child plays,

The houses and apartments where everyone just exists,

The hospitals and clinics that struggle to keep life alive,

The darkness and chaos that gives fuel to fear,

The places of worship from where God seems to have withdrawn…

Or so it seems as the darkness prolongs.

But in His plan after the dark night comes the dawn.

And after every storm comes the calm,

The grief and misery must give way to His light,

And we must go on and keep up the fight…

If an unseen virus can destroy life,

Can’t an omnipresent God can make it right?
