#the courageous woman.
My mother was a courageous woman,
I'm proud, she made me too, one,
She always swam against the tide,
For she was much ahead of her times,
Though herself uneducated,
She realised the importance of being educated,
She put me into an English medium school,
And changed my life forever,
It's because of this courage of hers,
That today I stand out in the crowd,
She bore the wrath of one and all,
But she knew what she did was right,
She had this basic instinct,
Of calling a spade a spade,
She never cut her words,
But always straight, to the point,
When it came to caring, she cared beyond expectations,
What more do we mean by courage?
I'm yet to know!
