The Colours Of You

Multi-coloured hue was frolicking with the scintillating sun that day, 

But not a single blissful beam was there on my face,

Sombre sentiments filled up my face,

The low-spirited vibe from my woeful face destroyed my usual disposition.

An elegant white gown gifted me a prepossessing appearance,

Continuously exhibiting a torpid emotion,

I had become spiritless.

The lucid lifelike colours were drained out by your absence,

Oh! How I desired to blend with the vivid colour of your ceaseless love,

Everyone gossiped and tattled in high voices,

But my crestfallen heart murmured your name endlessly, 

Longing to melt in your secure embrace.

I wished to live no longer without you,

You were my keen aspiration.

Soon after, my father summoned me with a euphonious voice,

As he took my hand in his,

But the person who was longing for me there,

Everyone stared at you in incredulity and dubiety,

Being blissed out, a radiant smile appeared on my face;

A smile that was coloured by your vibrant colours ~

Arousing intense sentiments of endearment.

And that's when I knew that our soul-stirring love story hasn't ended,

Just started another overwhelming chapter of it has started.
