The Boy Who Understood Life
The Boy Who Understood Life

The boy was waiting by the flower when an old man came by and asked: "What are you waiting for, kid?"
The boy replied;
"Something which makes the flowers bloom,
Something that calms the thirst of life, a boon,
Something which overwhelms the scorching heat,
Something which masters negativity,
Something which gives hope,
Something which indicates victory,
something that comes with a roar but always means well."
The old man laughed and replied " oh rain"
After a while
It rained heavily
The flowers bloomed,
The air was cool,
The kids were dancing,
The birds we
re singing,
The sky was without fear,
The smell was no worse,
The sound was no louder,
The worried were happy,
The farmers were crying tears of joy,
Everything was alright.
The rain saved nature
It revived it.
The boy was thinking by the flower when an old man came and asked what was he thinking about, the boy replied ‘the future’
The old man laughed and said:
"Future is just like a raindrop,
It can go back to square one,
Or be absorbed by a living thing
Or be a pearl if it is lucky."
The boy smiled at the old man and then looked at the rainy sky on a rainy day.
