The Angel Amongst Humans
The Angel Amongst Humans
Among the books and crowded halls,
Where laughter dances off the walls,
I found her—perfect, pure, divine,
Yet she was never meant as mine.
She is the sun, the morning light,
I am the dusk, the silent night.
She speaks in dreams, in words so sweet,
Yet never whispers mine to keep.
Her voice, a song my soul still knows,
A melody that never goes.
She spins the world with light so free,
Yet never once turns back to me.
I walk beside but out of sight,
A shadow fading in her light.
The world is hers—so vast, so true,
And I have no one… no one but you.
She, a dreamer lost in time,
I, a poet with love confined.
Stories shared, yet hearts unknown,
And still, I walk this road alone.
