Thank you, Teacher, for everything,

For all in me you’ve done.

For the trophy in my hand today,

Is for the race you’ve run.

Through hazy mists of tangled words,

You trained my eyes to see.

You taught me things I never knew,

You’re the reason I am me.

Through me you still do change the world,

Through me you still do teach.

Through me you touch a countless souls,

As through me your teachings reach.

So, I thank you now and every day,
