Teasing Moon
Teasing Moon
Slept in the dark, cold magical moonlit night,
On the red sand staring at the full-wide moon in my sight,
Unbelievable happiness had surrounded my left and right,
And my heart flew like an aimless kite.
Moon smiled at me and asked where was my knight?
Why was I sleeping alone on a romantic night?
Why was I not in his arms, hugging tight?
Did not my love have that magical might?
I stared at it and smilingly replied,
My darling had gone to pluck a few stars in the night,
To decorate a necklace around my slender neck with pride,
He had gone to bring a few exotic flowers, white,
To spread on my sleeky hair straight,
He had gone to get the brightness from the moon at height,
As he wants none to be more glowing with light.
Other than his darling cuddling by his side.
