Tragedy

Tears

Tears

Suddenly I felt my face was wet

Wishing for something I could never get,

My dad fought with so much bravery

I don't care if I have to do slavery.

But now also I can't respond

To the soldiers standing on my door,

I still feel that he can come back

But it's only his things, he's in lack

I can hear noises all around

My mother crying, and tears dripping down

But it's cost is more than any pound,

My heart started melting

But I had to wish the army men

He tells me to be proud

But his head is still down,

Making things even worse

My little brother comes around.

He asked me why is mom crying?

Why is that soldier standing there?

I didn't know how to tell him,

As his dad was the one he most cared.

He was struggling to get the answer,

Where's dad? Today he was going to come home

But I was standing there just like a stone

And tears dripping down.
