Sweet Nothings

Sweet Nothings

Under the broad sunlight,

where the daffodils smile,

I sit amidst the nature,

and remember you for a while.

The Sun mocks a laughter,

the wind plays a game,

I remember the words you said,

"All days are not the same."

When stars shower love,

when moon sings a song,

I remember the days when you and me,

walked arms in arms.

When twilight pins the curtain,

all the dreams are gone,

the stars fail to shower love,

the moon forgets his song,

The harsh sunlight burns the earth,

in pain the daffodils sway,

I come to the truth, the days of love

are gone far away!
