Sun - The Inspiration

At the first stroke of dawn

Can see the Sun coming out of hiding;

Magnanimous glory is it’s rise

Engulfing darkness with it’s light

Bathing the earth – the rivers, mountains, trees

Waking up life to start the day;

With its rays – giving new life – a new beginning

As the living set about their chores

Bringing unrest souls on their feet

Flowers on to full bloom;

Infusing a ray of fresh hope

In each life’s ordeals

It’s radiance gaining with passing hours

Reminding us of life’s ups and downs;

An inspiration to the down-trodden

To take life one day at a time.
