Suffocation
Suffocation
I never saw the red flags,
So I crossed my limits,
My hands touched every part of you,
My lips kissed even your clothes, bags and shoes,
My heart craved every single second,
To make love with you,
It is not just because of hormones,
It thought you were mine,
Completely mine,
Offline and online,
Here and there,
How beautifully you have acted,
Even the Oscar is not enough for your performance,
It's a lifelong relationship you told,
Being so consumed by your fake promises,
I nodded my head and beaten my brain to believe your words,
But, when the tables were turned,
You got escaped,
You made me a victim of this nameless relationship,
By gifting suffocation for a lifetime.
Now, If someone comes close to me,
I run light-years to escape,
It is because of your musings,
Which were making me suffocating,
You became Omnipresent in my life,
Oh not so dear,
You are appearing in my bathroom, kitchen,
On my bed and everywhere,
Your acts of backstabbing in relationship haunting me,
Which made me think everyone as a coward in relationships,
But, I am having one beautiful relationship,
It is not fake or namesake,
It is with myself,
Self loves making me breathe some fresh air.
