Still Do I Wish For You
Still Do I Wish For You
Sitting at the coast,
I tend to smile,
Asking the almighty,
If I could get a glimpse of
you from time to time,
Knowing you were there could I sleep in peace,
Knowing I had someone to care,
For someone besides me t hold me and love me;
Regardless of my cold feet.
Now that you're gone,
In bright daylight do I still look around,
For seeing you would be for me the break of dawn!
All seemed to have happened so fast,
Didn't realize you could move that fast;
Walking down the streets,
Looking at places did we dine and feast!
Wanting to walk in and sit at the table we shared,
Feeding each other while the others just stared;
Wanting to know the secret that we held,
For true lover's when we passed by,
Did they all yell.
Now walking all alone;
The moments which I now hold,
Seems all pale and black,
Wanting the colorful day's we shared,
But you're never coming back,
Those were the words that you last said,
Keeping me awake whenever I try to get some sleep;
For my eyes even then continue to weep.
