Her red lips stole the whole show

Also, the saree that this gorgeous woman wore

Her every step towards the banquet

Was like a knock on my heart's door

While the whole crowd stopped and just stared

Men and women didn't stop to admire her beauty while she was there

She was like a star that was crafted by the almighty himself

Chiseled every part of her from head to toe

While I took the opportunity to walk up to her and compliment her, 

Without doing that I couldn't be at peace for sure

Subtle and melodious did she sound

For she was new, had just moved in from another town

Invited her over to my place the next day,

Promising to show her the town also some lovely eatery joints, 

For she did like good food that could cheer up her mood

She also had a craze for red wine and the color red

Realizing just in time that's valentines day was closing in

The best time to express my love to her

For rejection would be quite thin

For love would definitely pour out from the brim!!!
