Spike

After writing a new piece

When I feel satisfied 

Someone laughs and says 

Is it poetry or some slang 

I give it back with a bang

I may not know how to write poetry

But I certainly know how to narrate myself

Unlike those who just know to portray themselves 

Someone asks how much likes your work gets

I stand strong to say again

Maybe I don't get many likes

But I surely know that

With this, my inner self can get a hike

And that's enough for me 

To hit any target like a spike.
