Smelling Frost

Smelling Frost

Striding the old known corners,

A hope to live the wildlife beyond,

Once I enter that greenery I was familiar to,

Saddened to see that turned to such smelling frost.

Bouncing with curiosity to come to old villages,

A desperate wish to live the dream beyond,

Once I enter that thick forest I was known to,

Disgusted to see it being turned to such smelling frost.

The city has come in its place,

The tall pillars, boards and building spreading beyond my vision,

Smelling frost spreads as far I could see,

There is no chance of sadness in that known exclamation.

The loss has replaced the joy of wildness,

Envy, competition, and slaughter coming beyond hopes to perfect stride,

Smelling frost has diseased every mind and body of my known village,

The worst is air to breathe killing the life side by side...
