She knew
She knew
She knew she was alone,
For she had no one to share.
Every person she trusted, betrayed,
And so she never had someone who would care.
She knew she was broken,
And had forgotten how to smile.
She had no one to look after,
Even if she walked a mile.
She knew she just wished to die,
But was not that weak to suicide.
She too had some dreams
And they would left incomplete if she died.
She knew she had to survive,
To fulfil her dream.
It was the only hope in her life,
Just as in dark, the light from a single beam.
